Come and create your own hypertufa container to take home with you out of a mix of cement, sand and peat moss. Hypertufa is light, stonelike, affordable and perfect for growing succulents, and can be shaped into your ideal planter or container.
This hands-on class will teach you the fundamentals of recipes, molds and curing.
All the materials you need to create your container are included. However, plants are not included but can be purchased seperately.
These containers need one week to cure after being made, so you will need to pick up your pot approximately a week after your class.
Pre-registering is a must and all registrants must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
Dates: These classes are held later in the season (usually August or early September)) so they have yet to be scheduled for the 2013 season. Please check back this summer for the schedule.
